From his formative years in Port Harcourt, Nigeria,  Zafric's musical odyssey began with a love for rhythm and melody instilled by his mother's eclectic playlist featuring legends like Brandy, Whitney Houston, and Aretha Franklin. He studied music at Bowen University, where he honed his craft, perfecting his songwriting and composition skills. He actively participated in campus events, further developing his performance abilities. It was during his time at Bowen University that he crossed paths with LFA, a budding producer, with whom he collaborated on the creation of his debut single, 'WAVE.'
