UCL: Nothing To Regret, Man City Lost To Better Team –Rodri

Manchester City midfielder Rodri has revealed that the team has no regret losing to Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

Recall that City were beaten on penalties after drawing 1-1 in the second-leg of their quarterfinal last night.

However, in a chat with the Club’s official website, Rodri said,”Nothing much to say. Congratulations to Real Madrid and congratulations to my teammates for the effort. We gave everything.

“Nothing to regret. This is football sometimes. This is the trick of this competition. This shows how difficult it is to win it, we did it last season, I’m very frustrated to be honest for what happened.

“Sometimes it is difficult to explain. we will need to digest the loss.

“We have to wake up and stand up because we have two more competitions to fight for.

“We need to stand up. We need a positive mentality and find an ambition which right now is difficult to find, but we will find it.”
