Multiple award-winning singer and performer Tiwa Savage has written to the Commissioner of Police Lagos State command over the alleged threats she received from her colleague Davido.

Tiwa Savage, in the letter sent to the Commissioner of Police, stated that she had received a message from Davido regarding her recent post of her at a party with the mother of the singer's first daughter Sophia Momodu. This shocking revelation surfaced days after the two singers had unfollowed each other on the popular social media platform Instagram.

Tiwa wrote a letter in which she mentioned that she received a message from Davido. In the message, Davido stated that he felt mocked and ridiculed by a video of Tiwa and Sophia Momodu. At the time of the video Tiwa had shared, Davido and Sophia were not on speaking terms.

She went on to add that she had then received a threat from the singer through their mutual connections where he stated that she should be careful in Lagos. She urged the police force to do their due diligence and investigate the case in which she also attached images of the conversations on social media.
