KUALA LUMPUR: Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel is in talks with Malaysia Airlines Bhd to supply inflight meal service for the national carrier’s first class and business class, sources familiar with the matter told SunBiz.
This development comes after an exclusive partnership between Sheraton Imperial and Malaysia Airlines for an exclusive Hari Raya menu at the airline’s airport lounges between April 10 and 17.
The special one-time offering is available at KLIA Terminal 1’s Golden Lounge Satellite, Golden Lounge Regional, and Golden Lounge Domestic.
Guests can indulge in Malaysian delicacies at the lounges, under the guidance of chef Mohd Azizan Mohd Apande, chef Abdul Hallim Sultan, and chef de cuisine Muhammad Aliff Akhbar Zakaria from Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur.
The buffet features dishes such as Sup Tulang Rawan Pattani Dondang Sayang, Nasi Minyak Kismis Gemersik Takbir and the Senandung Manis Si Pulut Hitam dessert, among others. Additional exclusive dishes are available in the Platinum Lounge.
Malaysia Airlines provides extensive premium services for passengers and frequent flyer members across different classes to enjoy these Hari Raya Aidilfitri meals.
Meanwhile, economy class passengers have the option to purchase lounge access through the Journify website or app.
