Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda has blasted Mamuka Jugeli for what he termed a ‘bad, superficial and unacceptable’ comment regarding his client.
Jugeli, who is the agent of Osimhen’s Napoli teammate, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia said on Tuesday that the Nigerian would join a Saudi Pro League team at the end of the season.
Calendar has now reacted to the claim by Jugeli, stating that it is capable of creating for his client with Napoli fans.
“Everyone must look into their own home and have respect for the work of others. It is not correct to talk about the future of other players,” said Calenda in a statement on X.
“This creates problems and misunderstandings as well as unfortunate predictions. The alleged words of agent Mamuka Jugeli are bad, superficial and unacceptable. These words create problems for my player Victor Osimhen with Napoli fans without any reason or real of the reality. We have just signed a contract renewal and Victor’s only wish, in addition to the Africa Cup of Nations, is to help Napoli. Everything else is rubbish.”
Osimhen is currently on international duty with Nigeria.
He recently signed a contract extension with Napoli.
