Nigerian Artists Qing Madi bags first-ever nominations at the 2024 International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).

Qing Madi received a nomination for the 41st Annual International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA). This would be her first International nomination. Qing Madi is nominated under the Best Teen Entertainer(13-19 years old) category. The 17-year-old singer took to her social media to celebrate the joyous moment and urged fans to vote for her. She said, "Omds my first award nomination is international. I'm being nominated for the 41st edition of IRAWMA in the USA for "Best Teen Entertainer (13-19)". Qing Madi is up against other great teen singers such as Pablo YG, DJ Switch, Kairo McLean, and many others. There are 150 nominees in 39 categories. The IRAWMA takes place on March 22, 2024, at the Lauderhill Performing Art Center (LPAC), Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Apple Music Africa's Rising Stars class of 2024 included the young artist in its list. She has also collaborated with Nigerian Singer Iyanya on his latest Album Once Upon a Cat. In addition, her self-titled EP is now at No. 31 on Nigeria's Apple Music Album Chart, Ole featuring BNXN has now reached 9.4 million views on YouTube.
