NPFL: Enyimba In Akure To Beat Sunshine Stars — Ekwutoziam

Enyimba midfielder Eze Ekwutoziam has hinted the the team is poised to get all three points available in their clash against Sunshine Stars in Akure.

Ekwutozian claimed the defending champions are battle ready for the hosts.

“This is Enyimba and we are here for the maximum three points. We all know what is at stake and we are all pushing amd trying to defend our title,” he told the club’s official website.

Ekwutozian also pointed at the Elephants readiness to push and get all points In Akure which would also solidify a charge for their title defence.

“A victory tomorrow which I know is very much possible would be a big morale booster for the team entirely as we are pursuing one goal which is defending our titl,”he added.

The game which is billed to kick off at 4pm would serve as a big quest for the Aba giants who saw off Heartland in an epic oriental derby in Tuesday to make claims toward defending her title.

The nine-time champions would be missing the services midfielder Daniel Daga who was not part of the traveling squad as a result of the slight knock picked up in the last game.

Chijioke Mbaoma made the difference from the spot when both teams met in the reverse fixture in Aba last December.
