Ngannou Down, Fury Or Usyk Next –Presidency Reacts To Joshua’s Victory

The Presidency has commended Anthony Joshua for his victory over Francis Ngannou in the heavyweight fight on Saturday.

Recall that the British boxer knocked Ngannou down twice before landing a decisive blow in the second round, securing the win at 2:38.

This victory marks Joshua’s fourth consecutive win following his previous defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.

Reacting to the victory, the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy for President Bola Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga, wrote via his official X handle, former known as Twitter, that the heavyweight division is a tough game and also said that Tyson Fury or Usyk will be next for him.

“Congratulations Anthony Joshua a.k.a AJ for knocking out Francis Ngannou in the second round of the heavyweight bout in Riyadh. AJ after the fight has words for the media: “You know what I’ve noticed with you lot (the media). Your life changes when you lose. But when you win it’s just on to the next.

“The heavyweight division is a tough game. We got the job done and people can question me. But I’m not even buzzing with this win. On to the next.

“Next may be a shot with the winner of Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.”
