Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino has lauded Noni Madueke’s impressive work rate despite his shaky start to the season.
Recall that Madueke has made 20 appearances this season for the Blues, scored five goals and bagged two assists.
He was also impressive in Chelsea’s 5-0 thrashing of West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday, where he netted a goal and bagged one assist.

However, in a chat with the club’s website, Pochettino described Madueke as a fantastic player.
“Noni Madueke, for me, unbelievable. If you analyze him from the start of the season; all the conversations and meetings, clips and videos, things like this.
“He was capable of doing a fantastic job with the ball – of course, he is an offensive player – but without the ball he is doing a fantastic job. That is what we need for the future, to build this competitive spirit.”
