Here is why the Grammy award-winning singer and performer Burna Boy cancelled his concert scheduled to take place at the 55,000-capacity stadium in the Netherlands.

Singer and performer Burna Boy in an official announcement on his social media platform today, Thursday, May 2, 2024, confirmed that his concert in the Netherlands which was scheduled to take place at the Johan Cruijff Arena, 55,000 capacity stadium on June 9, 2024, has been cancelled.

The singer confirmed that the reason behind his decision to cancel his concert at the venue was because the organisers of the concert had failed to meet their contracted obligations ahead of the concert. He however confirmed that all tickets purchased would be refunded within 30 days of the purchase.

It's worth noting that this isn't the first time Burna Boy has cancelled a concert. He initially cancelled his Love Damini concert in the Netherlands back in November 2023 as well. Burna Boy confirmed on Instagram that he cancelled the show due to "a number of reasons." Although he was looking forward to performing for his Dutch fans, he stated that another date for the event would be announced.
