National Chairman, third phase of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Gen. Elaye Slaboh has congratulated the newly appointed administrator of PAP, Dr. Dennis Otuaro.

This is following the recent approval of the appointment of Dr. Otuaro by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the new administrator of the programme.

Slaboh said that before Otuaro’s appointment, the new PAP boss had served as a top level executive of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and therefore armed with vast experiences across multiple sectors including infrastructural development, security management, environmental remediation as well as oil and gas.

According to him, Otuaro’s leadership will move PAP further considering the wealth of experience he has gathered over the years which has equipped him in terms of capacity building and conflict resolution to sustain the existing peace and moving Presidential Amnesty Programme.

While wishing the new amnesty boss the best in his new assignment, he prayed on behalf of the third phase of PAP that God will empower him with the needed wisdom to pilot the affairs of the programme, and called on all Niger Deltan’s and all ex-agitators to support Dennis Otuaro throughout his tenure as the PAP boss.

Slaboh however gave the assurances of his commitment as president of the third phase of PAP to ensure a smooth and cordial relationship with his office to maintain the needed peace and stability in the Niger Delta region, and commended the immediate past interim administrator, Ndiomu for moving the programme to where it is now with laudable initiatives.
