Shallipopi's fans, the "Plutomanias," are erupting online after the rapper dropped his highly anticipated second album, Shakespopi, today, April 12th.

Fans are raving about the album, with many calling Billions their favourite track. It's the fifth track on the nine-song album and is a collaborative effort featuring Reeha, ZerryDL, and Tega Boi DC.

Some fans were surprised not to see a collaboration with fellow Nigerian star Rema on the album, as the two have been teasing fans with snippets and even being seen together on a music video set.

The rapper's signature wordplay is getting a lot of love, with one fan commenting "Shakespeare nor go shake keh" (meaning "even Shakespeare won't be able to compete") followed by fire emojis. Another fan is clearly feeling the good vibes of the album, simply saying "Jaiye lor" (meaning "it's a party").

One hilarious comment captured the relatable thoughts of many listeners: "Rent was due…Everyone needed something…Shallipopi to the rescue!" they write, referencing lyrics that seem to depict the rapper coming through in a time of need.

Overall, it seems Shallipopi has delivered another hit with Shakespopi. With fans hyped and lyrics sparking conversation online, the album is sure to be on repeat for many.
