Europa: Boniface, Tella, Lookman Help Leverkusen, Atalanta Reach Semi-finals

Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella were in action for Bayer Leverkusen who held West Ham to a 1-1 draw in the second leg of Europa League.

The draw means Leverkusen advance to the semi-finals 3-1 on aggregate.

Boniface was introduced before the start of the second half while Tella came on in the 46th minute.

Michail Antonio gave West Ham the lead in the 13th minute.

But Jeremie Frimpong snatched an 89th minute goal to draw Leverkusen level and maintain their unbeaten streak.

In Italy, Ademola Lookman came on in the second half as Atalanta lost 1-0 to Liverpool.

Despite the defeat Atalanta went through to the semis thanks to their 3-0 win at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah got the only goal in the 7th minute but Atalanta frustrated Liverpool to reach the semi-finals.

Other results saw Roma edged AC Milan 2-1, to advance 3-1 on aggregate and Marseille overcome Benfica on penalty spot.
