After the demise of Iyaloja, who was chased and killed by Oro deity in broad daylight, Iyalode (Ronke Odusanya) vowed that there would be no more Iyaloja titles in the market; instead, she and her daughter would be entitled to collect dues from every trader in the market, claiming that the market was founded by her mother. Traders felt reluctant to pay Iyalode and, at the same time, pay her daughter, which made Iyalode summon Elesu Oja and the drama begins.
