Nigerian international singer, Davido is set to headline the UnitedMasters music platform's kick-off event for Grammy weekend.

The show, scheduled for Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Hollywood Palladium, will also feature Dominican rapper, Tokischa and South Africa-based DJ-artist, Uncle Waffles.

Last year's showcase drew 2,500 fans, including notable figures like Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Nas, and DJ Khaled.

More than half of this year's Grammy nominations include independent artists, showcasing the growing significance of creator independence.

UnitedMasters founder and CEO, Steve Stoute emphasized the celebration of global independence with international acts like Davido. The event aims to demonstrate that artists can achieve success independently, similar to their label-signed counterparts.

UnitedMasters, known for connecting brands with culture, has secured partnerships with Diageo, Ally, Delta Air Lines, Visa, and Disney. Diageo's Bulleit Frontier Whiskey continues as the official spirits partner for the "Celebration of Independence." Other sponsors this year include Diageo's Johnnie Walker, Ally, Honda, and Delta Air Lines.

Jesse Damashek, SVP Marketing, Whiskey and Liqueurs at Diageo, expressed excitement about returning to the event, highlighting its role in connecting the world with creative pioneers.

The second annual Celebration of Independence is expected to mark a significant moment in collaboration with UnitedMasters artists, with Davido taking center stage at this noteworthy event.
