Davido makes courtesy visit to Minister of Interior

King of Afrobeat Davido paid a courtesy visit to the federal Minister of Interiors of Nigeria.

Grammy-nominated afrobeat star Davido and his team recently made a courtesy call on Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, in Abuja. Tunji-Ojo took to his social media handle to share photos from the visit, expressing joy at hosting the talented musician. The Minister praised Davido as an ambassador for Nigerian music whose contributions have consistently showcased Nigeria's cultural wealth and artistic talent worldwide.

Via his social media, the interiors minister said "I welcomed renowned afrobeat artiste David Adeleke, widely recognized as @davido, yesterday. Davido, through his music, has continued to exemplify Nigeria's cultural richness and talent on the global stage, and we are proud of him".

The musical sensation Davido released the music video for his hit track Away in which he featured Real Madrid players. The video showcased appearances from football players including Vinicius Jr, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Jude Bellingham, David Alaba, and Toni Rudiger.

The king of Afrobeat also announced the completion of his fifth studio album. He revealed this during Kai Cenat's live stream. During their live meetup, Davido revealed that his new album is finished. He also revealed that it consists of 15 songs and has six artist features.
