Chelsea are reportedly set to open talks to sell their first player in the June 2024 transfer window as the season slowly comes to an end.

According to recent reports, Chelsea and the Albanian forward Armando Broja are reportedly set to part ways in the June 2024 transfer window.

In an exclusive announcement made on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, popular sports journalist Fabrizio Romano shared that Armando Broja and the Blues squad mutually decided not to renew their partnership for the upcoming 2024/2025 club football season.

Broja, who is currently on loan at Fulham, has garnered interest from various clubs in the Premier League and other parts of Europe. He will be considering his options as soon as the season comes to an end.

Will Broja join Fulham permanently?

Broja's future at Fulham remains uncertain. In a press conference, Fulham's head coach, Marco Silva, revealed that he pushed hard for Broja to be at the club, and tried to sign him last summer.

He said, “He’s a player I really appreciate. He has all the abilities to play at the highest level. Last few games we’ve had everybody available. Issa Diop, for example, has been a starting XI player so many times this season and the last three games was out of the squad list as well. No one speaks about that because he’s not a Chelsea player."

“It’s been tougher for Armando, with all his ambition to play. When you go for a loan in the last days of the market, you expect the player to come and have an impact. But when you have a striker scoring goals the way he [Muniz] has been scoring, it is not giving chances for the others.”
