According to reports, Chelsea have made a U-turn regarding Datro Fofana's proposed move to win La Liga side Sevilla in the January 2024 transfer window.

Following the callback of Datro Fofana from his loan move to Union Berlin The Blues have reportedly changed their minds about a proposed move to the La Liga side Sevilla and have opted for a move to the premier league side, Burnley instead.

In the early part of the January 2024 transfer window, Datro Fofana of Chelsea had been linked to a loan move to Sevilla following the initial reports of his recall from Union Berlin as things had not worked out for the player at the club.

Fresh reports now indicate that Fofana will remain in the Premier League but will be on loan to Burnley. The player has taken his flight today, Friday, January 12, 2024, to ensure that the deal gets finalised.
