Leverkusen extended their unbeaten streak, as Josip Stanisic’s stoppage time goal secured a dramatic 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga on Sunday.

The newly crowned Bundesliga champions have now stretched their unbeaten run to 45 games in all competitions this season.

Super Eagles forwards Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella were in action for Leverkusen.

Boniface came on in the 84th minute while Tella was taken off with 20 minutes left.

Dortmund thought they had done enough to end the unbeaten run after Niclas Fullkrug gave them the lead on 81 minutes.

But in the 98th minute Stanisic rose highest to head home Florian Wirtz corner.

On Thursday, Leverkusen bagged another late goal as Jeremie Frimpong’s 89th minute goal, earned them a 1-1 draw at West Ham in the Europa League quarter-finals second leg.

Leverkusen progressed into the semi-finals on 3-1 aggregate after winning the first leg 2-0.

Meanwhile, they will take on lower division outfit Kaiserslautern in the final of the German Cup in May.
