Victor Boniface, has been nominated for the 2023/24 Bundesliga Team of the Season.
Bundesliga and other nominees were announced on their X handles on Thursday, 18 April, 2024.
Aside Boniface, seven other Bayer Leverkusen players made the shortlist.
Bayern Munich England striker Harry Kane and Granit Xhaka are also nominated.
There are five nominees in the goalkeeper category, 10 shortlised for the defence and 15 will slug it out in the midfield.

The final Bundesliga Team of the Season will be decided via votes by fans.
After a three months absence due to injury, Boniface returned to help Leverkusen Clinch the Bundesliga title for the first time in their history.
He scored and had an assist in the 5-0 win against Werder Bremen, which sealed the title for Xabi Alonso’s side.
The 23-year-old has scored 18 goals, nine assists in 27 games in all competitions in his debut season for Leverkusen.
Also, he won the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award four straight times.
