Blaqbonez releases music video for 'nyem ego'

Blaqbonez decided to start off 2024 with the release of the music video for 'Nyem Ego' featuring Jeriq.

Blaqbonez, the Nigerian rap sensation, has dropped an electrifying music video for his hit track 'Nyem Ego'. The hit song comes off his 2023 album 'Emeka must shine'. The song title gets it origins from the Igbo language and translates to "Give me money".

'Nyem ego' video has blend of hip-hop highlife, vibrant colors, cultural aesthetics, and bold cinematography. Directed by Kemz, the music video director was able to blend the Igbo culture with its clothing, dance moves, musical instrument and accessories which synergies with Blaqbonez and Jeriq's lyrics.

Blaqbonez recently collaborated with some Chocolate city veteran artist on a 9 minute song 'Chocolate City Cypher'. The track unites pioneers who played a significant role in molding the Nigerian hip-hop landscape, including M.I Abaga, Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince, and Loose Kaynon, alongside the dynamic talents currently making waves in the industry, represented by A-Q and Blaqbonez.
