AC Milan players give Samuel Chukwueze a heroic welcome

Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze received a heroic welcome from his teammates at his club, AC Milan after he returned from the just-concluded AFCON.

The players of the Serie A club were so excited to see the Nigerian return after spending one month in Cote d'Ivoire. Chukwueze did not get enough playing time in the competition but he was given an opportunity to start in the final match against Ivory Coast.

Nigeria finished second behind the host nation, Ivory Coast having lost the game 2-1. William Troost-Ekong opened the scoring for the Super Eagles in the first half while the Ivorians completed their comeback in the second half with goals from Franck Kessie and Sebastien Haller.
